SET has a proven track record of rapidly building technology prototypes to demonstrate and assess new warfighting
concepts. In a recent example, we focused a customer’s broad vision of command and control capability into several
embodiments for consideration. The selected concept included unique man-machine interfaces and visualization
techniques that for the first time allowed a commander in sanctuary to operate as though he was “truly there”
on the battlefield; visualizing the situation, interacting with other warfighters and assessing plans of action.
SET led a team of defense and commercial technology experts to successfully develop the visualization concept,
produce the simulations, customize the interface hardware, integrate the system, and demonstrate a working prototype
in three months. The prototype system was subsequently selected by our customer to serve as the centerpiece of their
exhibit booth at multiple technology trade show forums.
