As System Integrator for the AFRL Gotcha Radar Exploitation Program (GREP), SET is integrating the RF exploitation system that processes persistent staring RF data into continuous, geolocated target tracks using advanced SAR, range-doppler, and change detection technologies. The system is designed to operate in an urban environment, continuously monitoring an area whose size is expected to grow to 20km diameter over the life of the program. Such a system produces terabytes of data per hour and requires state of the art high performance computing (HPC) to produce real-time information to the war-fighter. In addition to serving as system integration lead, SET engineers are developing the system interfaces to the input phase history data stream, conducting trades on the selection of high-throughput HPC architectures, mapping algorithms to those architectures, and developing user interfaces that provide for real-time visualization and forensic analysis of processed imagery.
